As Cal Newport teaches, if we want to elevate our own standards, taste, and field of excellence, we need to spend time in the presence of those practicing at the highest level in theirs! That is why I most enjoy dining alone. To educate myself on the artistry firsthand, the beautifully timed strategic experience, all of which inform my market intelligence standards and the way I think.


That is, after all, the real power of marketing. The ability of an environment to move us, make us talk about it, yearn for a return, and ultimately pull something memorable out of us.
