The 4 Ps of marketing are truly simple categories. These 4 categories are the foundation, yes, still the foundation, now more than ever in 2026.

Use them to develop critical thinking skills to continue to meet the challenges of your business.

Product / Service

This is the one thing you devote yourself to selling, improving, protecting, and making valuable.

Does what you offer solve a need?

Does it make someone’s day easier, better, faster, calmer, more delicious, or more memorable?

Does it have a sound, texture, scent, look, or feeling customers remember?

Price

This is what the customer pays. It’s what they believe your product or service is really worth.

Does the price make sense for the value you provide?

On the owner side, does it support your profit margin?

Place

This is where customers find you, buy from you, experience you, or decide whether you are worth their time.

Are you easy to find? Physically and digitally?

Is your physical or online environment helping the customer trust you? Understand your POV?

Does the place where you show up match the customer you want to reach?

Promotion

This is how you communicate your value.

What are you saying?

Where are you saying it?

Who are you saying it to?

Why are you saying it?

Thinking deeply on these everlasting 4 Ps helps you prioritize which part of marketing needs attention first. It gives you a chance to step back. To pause. To really analyze what you do, who you do it for and why you do it.

In a time when marketing has become the new buzzword, what do you expect from someone who practices?

Nos vemos.
