From National Advertising Agency Work to In-House Marketing

My perspective was built on both sides of the marketing table: national advertising agency strategy and local franchise owner execution.

My work focuses on three areas of the business environment:

  • consumer behavior trends

  • marketing trends

  • applied data analysis

I solve marketing problems by pinpointing gaps, uncovering demand opportunity, and translating market behavior into measurable performance.

Agency Side
Lopez Negrete Communications

I began my career at a remarkably high standard within the advertising and marketing industry at Lopez Negrete Communications in Houston — Walmart’s Hispanic Agency of Record for over 30 years, yes, 30 years. There, I was trained to treat data with respect, curiosity, and cultural intelligence which defined the agency’s legacy.

I was a data analyst on the team responsible for extracting community insights for the high-profile 2020 Houston Census campaign. This was a paramount moment in my career. Growing up in Sugar Land, TX, cultural fluency is my native tongue. My multicultural upbringing paired with dedicated research observing how Mandarin, Vietnamese, Spanish, Hindi, Urdu to American Sign Language speakers behaved, resulted in furthering Lopez Negrete Communications' as a cultural insight titan.

Ultimately, this campaign allowed me to further LNC's cultural competitive advantage across the below S&P 500 and National brands.

The McDonald's System Years

At Lopez Negrete Communications, my years leading the McDonald’s app digital ecosystem helped position the McDonald’s App as #1 in the App Store.

And the craziest part… if you lived in Austin, San Antonio, McAllen, Brownsville, El Paso, Albuquerque, Tulsa, or even Nashville from 2022–2024, you saw my work out in the wild. Billboards. Hulu. Pandora. Google. That $1 McDonald’s Breakfast Sandwich only in the App? Yeah, that was me.

Hours upon hours analyzing customer data showed me the intelligent way to

  1. influence customer behavior to download the app

  2. strategically recommend how to acquire, engage, and retain app guest counts for Owner-Operators.

That was my “Aha!” moment.

This line of work exists — recommending marketing and advertising strategies to franchise owner-operator entrepreneurs.

My time helping lead the digital app channel to the number one spot happened alongside some of the sharpest thinkers in the McDonald’s system. David Hadley, who led the number one Business Unit in the country from 2022–2024 in app growth, stands out in particular. His instinct for the realities of the market — a kind of constant pulse on what customers want now — shaped the speed and innovation of the work.

I also had the privilege of learning from remarkable owner-operators along the way: the Gray family in Nashville, the Wagner organization in Tulsa, the Matthews in Arkansas, the Lutito organization in Austin, the Oquin organization in Brownsville, the Castro organization in El Paso, and many, many others.

The McDonald’s system is one of the most selective entrepreneurial environments in the country. Being invited into those rooms shaped more than my career. It shaped how I listen, how I observe, how I think and... how I strategize.

It set my standards for strategic thinking to a level few ever get to see up close.

Owner Operator Side
Director of Marketing

Later, as Director of Marketing for Yellowstone McDonald’s, I unified the franchisee brand and built a customer-first ecosystem across 16 restaurants — blending Census demographics, median-age patterns, college, workforce, and retiree lifestyles, proprietary product-mix data, the cultural anchors of each market, and the powerful tourism flows surrounding Yellowstone National Park.

Scroll through below to see how this data sparked strategic imagination in the market — from digital ecosystem growth and in-restaurant engagement to market-specific visual storytelling developed with visual strategist Jessie Reitan. Working under Owner-Operator Nic Snowberger was an honor.

This experience completed the final puzzle on my board. I needed to see the world through daily interactions across an empire of 16 restaurants — millions in sales, pressure, stakes, playbooks, measurable results.

This is where my signature marketing style evolved. I do not just analyze data. I feel it, translate it, and shape it into strategy — the way a sculptor shapes clay and breathes fire into it.

Data becomes alive: strategies with pulse, intelligence, and the power to make the room smile — and fill it. Click here to see.

Where Market Intelligence Becomes Action

Businesses are leaving money on the table in today's economy.

The K-shaped economy shows luxury consumers and affordability-seeking consumers whose needs are not being met — but they could be.

Through Bronthie Market Intelligence, I solve marketing problems for local franchise owners and small business owners applying strategic vision to their business.

Reaching the right customer, at the right time, with the right message, on the right communication platform is how market intelligence becomes strategy.

What I Do

I help founders, owners, and executives turn scattered information into clear direction. My work includes:

  • Market Research & Opportunity Mapping – identifying where your growth is truly coming from.

  • Customer Journey & Sales Analysis – translating first-party data into sharp, actionable next steps.

  • Campaign Strategy & Post-Analysis – understanding what worked, why, and how to build on it.

  • Loyalty & Retention Program Design – creating programs that keep your customers close.

My Process

  1. Start with Listening: Every partnership begins with a complimentary 30-minute session to understand your goals, challenges, and where clarity feels missing.

  2. Discovery Session: A deeper diagnostic where I identify what’s working, what isn’t, and map your next strategic moves.

  3. The Intelligence Ladder: My proprietary framework that guides you from data collection to confident, intelligent decision-making.

  4. À La Carte Services: Tailored offerings including Signature Customer Journey Audits, Intelligence Dashboards, and Cultura Latina Intelligence.

  5. Booking Made Simple: Schedule all sessions directly through my website — secure, easy, and efficient.

  6. Limited Client Base: I intentionally work with a select group each year to ensure depth, precision, and profitability in every engagement.
