Each Market Moves post follows the same structure. Think of it as the agenda for how I analyze a business decision in the wild.
The Business Moment
The moment in the market. A launch, promotion, campaign, or brand move worth studying. Sometimes work I helped create. Sometimes work another brand executed well. Sometimes not so well.
The Cultural Insight
The human signal behind the move. Consumer behavior, community identity, and cultural context influencing how the idea lands with customers.
The Data Behind the Markets
The data behind the market signals which influenced the work being presented. Retail trends, marketing trends, consumer behavior trends, advertising trends, and macroeconomic signals shaping the environment.
The Marketing Move
The execution itself. How the strategy appears to customers in the real world.
Why This Strategy Was Intelligent
The strategic logic connecting insight, data, and execution.
What Franchise Systems Can Learn
My work focuses on franchise systems. When a strategy performs inside that environment of operational precision and brand scrutiny, it becomes an even stronger case study for other businesses to learn from.
A Strategist’s Reflection
My signature interpretation of the move. Observations shaped by compounded experience, lived market experience, global travel, and exposure to certain hobbies outside marketing. Inspiration and intelligence manifests in many different forms. All useful. All uniquely mine.
The Closing Question
A question inviting readers to think alongside me and observe the markets around them with greater curiosity.
Observe the moves with me.
Judging encouraged.
